Amanda Halliday
Amanda Halliday has spent many years on stage, taking her first role in community theatre at the tender age of 9, and learning and studying stagecraft for 30 years. Amanda is the Coordinator of Community Giving with the CNIB Newfoundland and Labrador, working to remove barriers to inclusion for people with sight loss. In addition, she is a mental health warrior – spreading awareness through sharing her journey with anxiety and depression. Most recently, she completed audio descriptive training through Vocal Eye and is looking forward to helping individuals with sight loss to truly immerse themselves in the theatre experience. She hopes that her time on the Power Productions Board will help to create change throughout the province – creating communities that are built on acceptance, inclusion, and accessibility.
